Im saying I dont see a reason why it would need to be an anime if it can be a manga. They are different mediums entirely. Its like saying that because something is a book it has to be a movie.
I am saying that BECAUSE anime needs multiple artists and writers and others to make it happen it is inherently a lesser medium because it will almost always compromise artistic value for monetary gain.
Again, I can think of a few examples of this not being the case with anime. The Tale of Princess Kaguya being a perfect example of a studio with immense pull and money using that to make a wonderful re-imagining of a classic Japanese folktale but how often do we see something like that? This Doro anime will be just another shitshow.>>180478138
I said not all the time, as in not always, as to say that I am not saying what you just said I was. If that is clear enough.
No, it is a completely separate issue because its not what this thread is about. I am arguing that the Doro anime will be bad based on the knowledge that the vast majority (not all) of anime adaptions are bad. Is this untrue? >>180478186
I found the Gintama issue to be pretty clear personally. Lupin has its high and low points, pretending that just because castle happened means all that mediocre parts of the series didnt is silly. I have yet to see the mob psycho anime adaption, much to my chagrin.
