This reminds me of my first drivers test. Saw some kids playing with a red bouncy ball in their yard. It was in a neighborhood with street parking (LA style.) So I'm going 10 in a 25 mph zone. The lady grading me keeps yelling "Speed up, this is 25!" and slamming her hand on my dashboard.
Then, like out of a fucking PSA the bouncy ball flies into the street and a 5 year old runs straight out to grab it, just a couple yards in front of my car. I slam on my brakes, the grader freaks out, the parents watching their kids scream, and I stop just short of him, with him looking at me like a deer in the headlights. The rest of the test the grader's completely silent.
To this day I think it's the only reason that I passed that test, cause if I'd listened to the professional driver, I woulda killed a fuckin kid.
Moral of story, kids are dumb, be careful with em. Secondary moral, don't just do what other people say because they have authority.
