Last night I dreamt I was watching a BBC documentary about a former Yugoslav chocolate company whose dark chocolate bars (75%) were particularly popular among the then-underground transvestite subculture. In my in-dream world, the scientific rationale for this was that dark chocolate contains nutrients that are essential for maintaining a transvestite lifestyle (in the dream, I had somehow already had pre-existing knowledge of this fact). Anyway, despite the fall of communism and the penetration of other chocolate brands on the Croatian, Serbian and Slovenian markets, this particular product remained popular among its loyal transvestite populace, who now no longer have to hide from the authorities and perform their burlesque shows in re-purposed WW2 underground bunkers like in the old days.
It was the most profound thing I'd ever seen. And then I woke up.
