never mind the active marine range 2 miles from the site on what is technically Miramar Marine Base>be me >1985 or something I dont know>go out there with friends>find pointy explosive object >throw rocks at it >die
and thats the story of why we aren't allowed to go there any more
It has abandoned buildings that are supposedly welded off but it also has an underground portion that is still somewhat reachable
It's a damn shame.
However, I have a friend who still lives in the area.
I am going to have him build a log book of when they do firing range use during a month long period to decide what day we should tresspass
No doubt they use trail cameras, but it's not like they'll see us while we're there.
A fine is only like 300 dollars but a firearms violation in California, on federal property too is much more. So we would presumably go unarmed.
