/k/ faggots are going to cry and rage. I am probably going to be called a vatnik and such on this board.
It is not that difficult for them to quickly deploy a defense network along with troops to Syria(these defense networks are on a different league from the 3rd world middle eastern countries we have fought). While the US has to cross a vast distance. Worse yet US soldiers currently awaiting back up in Syria are in deep trouble.
It is not that difficult for Russians to spend 100,000 to 1 million dollars or slightly more on missiles to easily take out multi billion dollar equipment crossing a vast sea.
Aircraft's have to fly a vast distance, need to refuel a couple of times, than have to worry about the air defenses in Syria. No landing platforms either because if not already they have already been blown up. Refuel aircrafts have a huge RCS when they are flying in it wont be that difficult to realize when the aircraft on radar is refueling and where the F-35s would be next. F-35s have a very limited distance especially in combat mode.
The results all indicate that the Russians would more than likely be barely effected financially in this war, to the heaves of money the US would have to spend which might be worse for us than the Vietnam war.
I wonder what toll or body count will be the result of this(for example iskander missiles striking and killing 1000s of sailors). Especially how the media will react to the amount of people being easily disposed of.
