>>15338414>He also was naive in thinking that Tekkadan was a group of people whom he could direct towards his own ambitions and he placed far too much confidence in them when really at the end of the day, they're just a bunch of dumb violent hobos who don't share his noble ideals or bearing.
Except Macky grew up similarly to Tekkaden (poor orphan on the streets, used and abused, bodies exploited, etc.) and gained his ambitions from that concept of crawling out of the dirt to take power from those who always 1) had more of it and 2) over you. Macky did so with toppling Iznario, Orga and Tekkaden overthrew their bosses and starting their own company. In both cases, they took the fastest road to more power, more authority. Anything in their way (the "authority and brute force" speech) can and was physically removed. Up until these last few episodes, Macky had Orga eating those same ambitions out of the palm of his hand. Macky/Tekkaden's stories, and respective paths, are supposed to parallel each other.
The difference being, as was alluded to in last week's leaks, is that Orga has friends and was always accumulating power for the sake of his family (be it to protect from poverty and/or danger), whereas Macky was always accumulating power for the sake of himself (if he stood atop the system, then no one possessed power over him).
This has been spelled out and spoonfed, repeatedly, over the course of S2. It's really not that hard.
