The best entry in the series (even if Shin got close) and a true classic of film. Had a real dream team behind the producation, with Eiji Tsubaraya, Akira Ifukube, and Ishiro Honda. The apocalyptic view of Tokyo aflame is one of the best moments in cinema. A lot of monster movies could learn from the original's tone ad pacing.>>16053690
Under appreciated, though no where near as good as the original. This really suffers from existing before they figured out how to make kaiju fights good. Still, it has its moments and is the last film to have a dark tone for a while.>>16056553
THE ENDING IS SUCH BULLSHIT! IT WAS OBVIOUS GODZILLA JUST GOT BURIED BY THE LANDSLIDE (considering he comes out of the ground next movie) SO THAT SHOULD IN NO WAY COUNT AS A KONG WIN! Otherwise, enjoyable if schlocky, and where the fights really start getting good.>>16059106
Never found it as good as people say, but still up there for a Showa film. Godzilla retains his scariness and the human plot is enjoyable, for once.>>16061062
A tad overly complicated, but worth it for the amount of kaiju action we get. Ghidorah is very threatening and I enjoyed the sense of continuity that started building with this film.>>16063088
Boring as fuck. Never got why people liked this movie. There's way too much human stuff that fails to be interesting, and the final fight is forgettable compared to the last movie. One of my least favorite films in the series.>>16064961
A fan, lazy-Sunday movie. Ebirah doesn't come off as much of a threat, but I enjoyed the James Bond-style antics of the Red Bamboo. The music is severely underrated.>>16067623
Horrible Godzilla suit, no real city destruction, unmemorable monsters, and unfunny comedy. Minya is also terrible. However, it does have a fantastic ending.
