Post timers were 30 seconds.
With the 1st change moot made it 57 or then 58 or 60 seconds.
With the 2nd change moot made it 90 seconds.
I don't know if it has changed since I checked last.
The thing is any board can have image dumps,
so every board should stick with the 30 second timer.
I think it may be more of a throttle on legitimate activity than spam.
Again, the boards have relatively few rules and moderation,
so it's more like unmoderated chat rooms than classical forums.
Moot probably thinks, since more people are lurking than posting,
that giving people more time to think out the post will produce better content.
With the automatic refresh every 30 seconds,
what is the difference between the boards and chat rooms?
The fact people need to wait and think out what they say every 30 seconds.
As opposed to having 0 cooldown,
and being able to instantly spam lots of posts with keyboard mashing.
