In particular with recurring keywords in thread ops and contextualising the data to the board topics, such information could be added to a semantic web of data and be manipulated to show that certain users are more prone to discuss certain things at certain times, from certain geographical regions, etc. for more targeted advertising.
Ultimately it makes sense from a business point of view to try and make something out of the endless supply of data that could be fed into a semantic framework.
Web3.0 will be developed by big data money, not military spending, I reckon.
