Honestly I'd be fine with just multpart kits for our core units and to get back all the stuff they removed from the army (dragon ogres, half the monsters, chaos trolls, chaos ogres, forsaken, hellcannons and so on)

Most of the time no, and when I do I need to have control of how much I thin it, so I don't do it in a wet pallet. There's zero reason to put those paints on dropper bottles.

And since the Necroquake they have operated completely openly in the realms. I am not really sure what else you might be referring to by "pseudo-Grey Knights hyper secret BS". They've never been that way.

Only issue is that one of the legs is attached to the statue's wing, but you probably could remove the wings from the statue, paint it up as a skelleman and then use the wing as rubble that the Reikenor is flying over.

I have about 2500 points of nighthaunt I bought and painted when 2ed came out, but I didn't really feel the faction so I shelved them and started lumineth. I was thinking of using the ghosts as a base for a LoN army, but that's getting replaced, so will Gravelords be able to take at least some ghosts?

Resin's production cost is infinitely cheaper than plastic. It's literally a sylicon mold you can make yourself at home, not a steel mold you need specialized, very expensive machines to make.

GW don't dictate the price of resin or plastic. For 10 GBP I can produce like 40 Greenskinz Wyverns which were sold at 35 each. For pennies of plastic I could make hundreds of sprues.
Vampire Lords were sold at 10 GBP a pop or so and plastic heroes are 15+.

WHFB knew, broadly speaking, four types of heroes.
1) The fighter Lord
Literally just a beatstick. The only thing he did for your army other than being real good at hitting things was to hand his usually high Leadership to other units.
2) The Wizard Lord
The obligatory Lv4 Wizard everyone and their granny took along and who was basically worth as much as the entirety of the army's infantry and made everything about him.
3) The BSB
The thing spreading around the above-mentioned beatstick's Ld even further
4) The gimmick Hero
Shit like Dispelling Scroll caddies, Hero Hunters, Warplock Engineers with portable nukes and army-specific shit like Necrotects

Compared to that, AoS has
>Commander
>Beatstick
>Wizard
>Priest
>Miscellaneous Buff Hero
and those roles are mixed and matched by different Heroes.

I'd just like if heroes could join units. It's dumb that Scinari cannot join the unit which is designated as their bodyguard. Having more battletome-specific options for customization of heroes would also be nice, but at least that's being slowly implemented through expanded Anvil rules.

It's not even complicated. If you have every statline and wargear option with defined rules, making a warscroll with those options is a non-issue. It doesn't even need to have the WHFB statlines, just be defined somewhere (like, a horse is +1 wound and a 10" movement, so if you wanted a hero on said horse, you add those stats).

AoS is all about simplicity. Matched play isn't even a focus, it's just an option tucked away and separate from warscrolls. GW will never implement upgrades like that - they don't even have them for units any more where before a 1-in-5 banner upgrade held a choice, one or another. Now it's just 1-in-5 for each banner typically.

The way that ancient civilisations use gold is the same way that GW uses gold in AoS both as a colour and on models as a material. They paint stormcast gold for a reason - it's such a common cultural symbol of divinity and monarchical authority.

The only reason this is at odds with AoS' writing is because GW haven't purged themselves of AoS1 style writing where everything is extreme, aelemental or magical

Conventional gold, in the Warhammer universe, has had magical properties that make it valuable. Particularly for people using Chamon magic. Conventional gold has value in and of itself in Warhammer. Hell we have artifacts still called "Blade of Leaping Gold." Temples and Cities in Azyr are described as covered in gold. It would still have value.

News flash retard national governments were not the only ones issuing currency (or currency equilivalents). Look at the Andrew Jackson and the wildcat banks of the American 1820s-1830s. Switch out the marauder torso with the chaos knight torso. Gives them a semi armored look, and gets rid of the hunchback/ no neck problem the old kit has. Despite being dated, the old kit is modular and great for kitbashing and conversions. I've had alot of fun building my marauders.
