>>5528288>>5528692>what kind of "dates" would Nick and Honey have?I imagine Nick would still be in his hustling days, and Honey, of course, is spending a lot of her free time working on being prepared to bug out. Cheap, greasy fast food places (think Hipponese take out and Alec's food truck) and beers and movies at either of their place to keep things inexpensive-- Honey's if Nick needs to lay low, and Nick's if Honey is convinced there are spies in her bunker.
>what kind of dates would Nick and Gazelle have?We talking high school AU? Nick's a charmer and talks a fast game, so he'll be bringing Gazelle along to hip restaurants with a sophisticated yet chill atmosphere (fusion joints, places with live DJ sets, way small portions for double the price tag). Gazelle would do most of the talking, but Nick would be on the ball with a joke that sends her laughing out of control. After food, a drive home in Nick's car-- parking it off the side of the road for a brief spell (gotta bring her home before 11, though).
>what kind of dates would Nick and Judy have?Nick would show her the sites of Zootopia that he knows, and Judy would drag Nick to see the site of Zootopia he never wants to know. Nick is functional, and he likes what he knows, and he has pride about knowing the best-kept-secrets of Zootopia. In his mind, Judy wants to see the touristy stuff. LA metaphor: Nick wants to take Judy to Wurstkuche, but Judy wants to get Pinks. However, Nick'll warm up to the enthusiasm Judy has for where she goes, and might be coaxed so see things her way.
>what kind of dates would Nick and Fangmeyer have?I like Fangmeyer to be the silent, smiling partner, and Nick to be able to show his enthusiasm. He lays on as much cool and smug and self congratulation as he can, and Fang chuckles along with him. Nick puts effort into bringing Fangmeyer to places that will astound and amaze her, and Fang is always accepting, but she's fine with a 24 hour diner. Snuggles follow at her place.
