Predominately Asian, but yeah sure they did help, after throwing massive amounts of bodies and empowering someone literally worse than Hitler..>D-Day
The largest joint operation in the world. Who do you think drafted it, set it up, and told everyone else "Hey guys, we're doing this, we got fresh troops, planes, oil, guns, ammo, aid, tanks, jeeps, so yeah, hop on in. Sorry that the infrastructure in europe is piss poor right now since the Axis powers literally control everything up to the mountains of spain"
When America claims that it won WW2, the censensus was "Fuck, if you guys hadn't shown up with all this gear and fought tooth and nail with us we'd probably have been absolutely fucked since hitler over extended into the soviet union during winter.
Do you really think the soviets, with ALL of europe taken would have beaten the nazis? Hitler had placed the majority of his forces in the eastern front, no americans blowing the doors open on the west? Better send more east to hold back the red tide.>Single highhandedly beating Japan.
Well, we did.
China was falling, it was already in the middle of civil war when Japan invaded, plus to aid China the Soviets sent them supplies, supplies they wouldn't use to fight against hitler, or supplies they would use, but china wouldn't have. Not to mention they cut china's supply lines to a majority of outside forces, little military infrastructure.
Then comes pearl harbor. Japan declares war not just on America, but the Allies as a whole. Guess what? That means everyone that's been fighting germany for the past couple years? Yeah they can't do shit and Japan steam rolls all their forces with little resistance. And for the majority of the Pacific campaign, can you guess who was tearing down island after island in in every weather rain, sleet, shine, bloody, muddy, stormy, or broiling? The US Navy and Marines. Yes other allies were there, the Chinese and some Australian guerrilla fighters
