Wouldn't consider myself an elitist, it's just that people throw everything in one pot which is just wrong. It's the same like people call everything classic as soon as an orchestra makes music. The reason why we define genres or for that matter any category in every part of life is to distinguish easier and to chose based on specific preferences.
1) is very uncommon for techno and due to the melodic nature of the track has a lot more similarities of what you'd find in early 90's trance or space music. I do listened to the album on bandcamp but none of the tracks on it are techno.
2) doesn't have a baseline is more melodic than rhythmic, doesn't change atmosphere or progresses atmosphere through claps, hats, kicks.
3) you could try to argue it's deep techno but doesn't have a hard baseline. to atmospheric to be played in a club, you'd find that in a chill our area
Quadrant is more like tech house
