I understand that you mean "if you can't maintain control you aren't a dom", and I agree with you there. However, I personally feel if you aren't willing to put others' happiness over your need for control, you're not ready to dom.
For a lot of my audience, being dommed would be an unpleasant experience for them, and I don't want that.

Never ever. There are way too many subs who don't understand findom, way too many outside observers who don't understand findom, and way way way way too many "findom"s who rampantly abuse the kink to just collect money and provide nothing. It's horrible optics and I'd go insane trying to explain it over and over again.
