So I'm from Montreal and I went to AN in Toronto. It was, quite the experience. I have to say that it had it's pros and cons, but whatever.
Anyways since /cgl/ seems to have a lot of Canadians, I wanted to know if any of you are going to go to Otakuthon which is held in Montreal. It's obviously smaller, and the scene outside isn't as crazy as AN, but it still is pretty intense. Wondering if there'll be any meetups and such. Also, AN kinda sucked for me and my friends as well. We had to drink in order to feel like we weren't at a sober autistic gathering. In Montreal, everything is conveniently located in Chinatown, including the con, and there's 'refreshments' you can buy to numb the pain of the shit you see. Anyways, let me know what's up.
