Why is it that the Snoopy Show generally gets a lot right in terms of precedent set by the comic strips and past animations but doesn't depict Peppermint Patty in her proper swimsuit?
She doesn't dress like a boy on the beach; she wears feminine swimwear just like the other girls.
Not to mention that the Marcie/Charlie/PPatty love triangle, or even just Patty's crush on Chuck hasn't even been implied yet, even with this new batch of episodes. Idk how you can adapt Peanuts and not have that even in the slightest. They even still have Marcie call Charlie Brown "Charles" although she only started using that nickname BECAUSE she crushed on him.
The Snoopy's Show's been overall pretty good so far, but something tells me Apple/WildBrain is actively culling or at the very least deliberately ignoring defining characteristics of Schulz's strip to satisfy nonexistent lesbian head canon.
I hope this gets corrected in upcoming specials but as of now, it's very worrying.
