>>120211922>Why are you so threatened by non-flamboyant gay characters having representation?
Why are you tumblrfags so threatened by friends of the same-sex?>There has yet to be a compelling argument that they weren't gay. They had little girl crushes on Charlie but they spent most of their time with each other and Marcie even called Patty sir. Obviously Schulz couldn't outright say they are gay because that wouldn't have gone over well with America at the time, but the implication was always there.
There is absolutely no argument, each of the girls had multiple crushes on boys throughout the show as well. It wasn't specific to Charlie Brown. Let's apply that same logic you're using: Linus and Charlie Brown spent most of their time with each other, so are they gay too? No, because that's absolutely ridiculous. Peppermint Patty and Charlie Brown have had romantic implications since her very introduction, Marcie's character developed later to expand this dynamic into a love triangle. That's it. >Nobody is revising anything it is all right there in the comics. Even in their last appearance in the comics it's Marcie and Patty alone together before going home.
Marcie is literally walking away from Peppermint Patty as she sits alone, by herself, calling out to Chuck in the rain. Pic related was Schulz reflecting on the end of his life, and to interpret something like that to interpret your little lesbian twitter fantasy unceremoniously spits on his grave. Its made even worse when it can't even be substantiated.
