My dream ever since I was a kid was to make an animated TV series. At first I wanted to work for Nickelodeon, since SpongeBob was what inspired me to pursue animation, but as I got older I leaned towards wanting to have it on Disney, since the series would likely stand a better chance with marketing and exposure (plus I could get the characters in theme parks). Especially nowadays, Nickelodeon kills anything that isn't SpongeBob and Cartoon Network is mostly TTG, so other shows barely get exposure. Disney seemed like the best option. Now their channels are dead, and I bet that Disney TVA will turn into a streaming show production company, meaning shows will get even less exposure since they're behind a paywall now.
I should've seen this coming eventually, given the two shows I've worked on have been for streaming services, but I figured TV shows would still be a thing for awhile. Once Disney pulls the plug, I'm sure other networks are gonna copy them to a degree.
