Everyone ITT has a completely misconstrued idea of these two girls because they’ve never read the comic strip. One thing is for sure though, an anon should base their choice of how each treats Charlie Brown, since he’s essentially a carbon-copy of you losers.
Peppermint Patty is a dumbass who only wants Chuck for surface-level reasons (his dick) and/or sees her dad in him. That alone should be a major red-flag for anybody trying to avoid excessive emotional baggage. She’s also canonically ugly in the face.
Unlike Patty, Lucy does her best to look pretty, and has some modicum of intelligence to her. It’s shown time and again that she not only understands Charlie Brown as a character, but is able to empathize with and care for him on an emotional level. The tough act Lucy does is pure tsundere, she actually is a big softie on the inside, balling her eyes out at the prospect of never seeing Charlie Brown again. As for Schroeder, Lucy’ll abandon him when his autism becomes obvious in middle school>>123158382>>123161212
Anybody who honestly picks Marcie is copping out. Her sole purpose is to serve as a foil for Peppermint Patty. As it concerns Charlie Brown, Marcie mainly serves to further prevent Patty from earning Chuck’s affection. That’s it. Marcie is boring as fuck.
