Socialists literally grieved that a talented demagogue Mussolini decided to form his own splinter sect of their cult.>socialist's and anarchist's ideas like 8 hours work day and one rest day a week and better pay were quite popular.
That's not what socialist and anarchist ideas were at all. That was merely a part of their rhetoric aimed solely at seizing power. Once in power, socialists, without fail, effectively reinstituted slavery, because slavery is the proper name for the condition resulting from applying points (1), (3), (5), (6), (7) and (8) of the Communist Manifesto consistently. Except far more brutal, because a slave-owner had at least some personal reason to care about well-being of his property, while a state-appointed functionary has none. >Fascists, who have always been far right,
Again, fascists were literally and factually a splinter sect of socialists.>Once in power, it's always the same, the laws are made for company owners and workers can get fucked.
Workers getting fucked is the natural consequence of the lefties being in power. Indeed, interaction with modern-day socialists and reading fiction written under socialism often makes me believe that fucking workers is not the means to an end, but the main point. Fascist corporatoctacy is still massively preferable to outright slavery under full socialism.
