I feel like the internet worsened the knowledge people have of health and nutrition instead of improving it.
Take my mom for example
>Milk is evil and will give you diseases!
>You should not eat dairy products!
>You should not eat more than 3 eggs per week!
>You should only eat 1 whole meal per day! Eat fruits and small things if you are hungry throughout the day
>You should only eat a salad at night!
>You should not chew gum because your body thinks you are eating and going to receive nutriments, and then not receiving anything, which messes up everything!
It's not even like we're fat and she's dieting or something. My mom is certainly skinny by American standards, and when I was a kid she was literally stick mode, extremely skinny. Just got a little bit of weight when I hit 15 because of the cortisol she had from her job and having to deal with the education of a dumb teen.
We used to eat very well, to drink milk, eat food with proteins and tons of nutriments she cooked well. But now because of all the s-o-y fag shit she's reading on the internet she is changing her mind about food and adopting all those weird beliefs.
Good thing she didn't have those weird beliefs when I was a kid, otherwise I would've probably grown shorter, a manlet, with feeble bones and less high-T. Good fucking thing I'm independent from her now and eat whatever the fuck I want, and good thing I learned to cook.
I feel bad for my little brother though. A kid his age that's in puberty needs to eat well to grow like a man, and now my mom wants to make him eat like s-o-y-fag because of shit she reads on FaceBook & Whatsapp.
