I'd say start trying to hit your protein goals as is, then up it a bit when you get a workout routine. Aside from muscles, protein is responsible for other functions. I started watching my protein a few weeks before my first workouts, and I generally felt better.>>59073129
I have a pic related you might wanna take a look at, as well as this link:https://www.onnit.com/academy/so-you-want-to-do-a-human-flag/
I started doing this while my gyms were shut down. They opened before I was able to actually hit the flag. I gave it up for gym based ab stuff, but I made some progress.>>59073447
I'd say keep bulking'/cutting until your abs are big enough to where the stretch marks are filled out, but even then that's just a bit of an illusion. I've heard stories of topical methods, cold pack routines, etc, but all in all they're with you for better or worse.
