Tendons don't exert force, only transfer it. It can either transfer the force or absorb it and in that, be deformed. They aren't elastic, because that would defeat their purpose; if they deform, they start to rupture.
In other words, tendon strength isn't dynamic. It can either support the movement or fail, and in failing you get injured. In effect, if the tendon can handle the resistance, then it doesn't matter if it can handle barely more than that or 100 times more.>>61506792
