“-Wallflower!”>Sunset looked around the parking lot- at Flash’s black car that pulled up and the gaggle of girls that were her friends.>Finally she locked her eyes on the retreating form of Wallflower Blush.>She gave chase, sprinting to catch up.>Slowly Sunset ground down to a slow trot, hands clasped in front of her.>She could feel the glowering eyes of her friends drilling holes in the side of her head, yet Sunset didn’t glance over.>She couldn’t see them- especially Twilight- so angry, so resentful.>Sunset swallowed hard and spared the group of friends, despite her common sense, a quick glance.>They were- even Fluttershy- eyeing her with naive distrust and lingering hatred.>Sunset looked back at Wallflower as she approached the forest.>She picked up her pace, calling out after the green-haired girl.
“Wallflower! Stop!”>Wallflower turned around, brow raised and mouth agape in surprise.>”Y-you remember my name?”
“I remember everything. The memory stone- how I acted, all of it!”>Wallflower’s arms spread wide and a scowl crossed her face.>”What? How! I erased the whole afternoon-”>She stopped short, a blush highlighting her freckled face.>The girls behind them looked over in confusion at the declaration.
“Listen, I used to be just like you,” Sunset said, raising her hands placate Wallflower’s growing ire.
“Sure, I was popular, but I was lonely.”>Wallflower jabbed a finger in Sunset’s direction.>“You’re nothing like me, and I’m not lonely because I have- uh- plants!”>Her hand came up to rest against her forehead.>”That sounded a lot less lonely in my head.”
