>>27113973>Everyone is quiet for a few minutes
<Discord snaps his fingers and you hear a soft fizzle
<"I suppose the truth can hurt. But unlike the other questions you would have asked, what questions this answered were contextually relevant.">You lower your hand and look again>It's Trixie, relaxing on a park bench somewhere, bobbing her head back and forth, and by her clothes, probably before all of this>You look at Indy>She looks uncomfortable>You look at Discord
"Can I make it up to her?">Indy chuckles, and when you look at her, you see she's nodding approvingly
<"Perhaps. Trixie has been hurt by... "You"."
<Discord grasps his tea cup, and the kettle, filling up the porcelain again
<He drops the kettle and it floats to the table
<"Who can help one who's lost to the darkness of their heart?"
<He points at you
<"Do you fancy yourself a good girl? Able to cut through the veil cast on this poor girl?"
<He doesn't pause>You listen to what he has to say
<"You'll find that not everyone can fight the darkness."
<He takes a sip of his tea and grins under the liquid
<"Some can abuse the mysteries of this world, to escape their lives. Some want be admired, respected, or crave destruction."
<Discord finishes his tea and sets it down, crossing his hands over his knee again
<"You still seem confused, so I'll say it a little plainer."
<He takes a deep breath and smiles. "The first major step to answering that big question is stopping Trixie and undoing her mistake."
<"But before you ask, the first small step is interviewing your other two subjects.">You're outside>The sun is still out>You blink, shaking your head to get focused again
"W-what?">"Huh?">You look at Indy
"W-what just h-happened?">Indigo scratches her head. "Uh, we talked to that weird guy But I don't know what we talked about. Also we were somewhere else?">She purses her lips, looking all around>"Where did his dumpster go?">You sigh. You're too tired for this
"L-let's go home."
