About Rarity Takes Manehattan, I always felt like the shit she got for what happened was too much, mainly because I can understand the frustration from her point of view.
She goes to Manehattan, the rest offer to support her, she uses her influence to get them VIP tickets to that Broadway show.
Then in Manehattan, shit goes wrong, she asks for help, but they hint at the fact that they should be seeing the show instead of helping Rarity, while Rarity is the sole reason they're in Manehattan and the sole reason they even have the opportunity to see the show? Would they go without Rarity, basically a big fuck you, you worked hard to get us these tickets as a gift, now get fucked?
Imagine being there instead of Rarity, stressed as fuck, while your best friends want to leave you to your wallowing while going to see a show that they're able only thanks to you. No shit she freaked out, what did they expect would happen?
Sure it was over the line and the way she stormed out and everything was too much, but to me it feels like the fault was at both sides, that there were communication problems, while almost everyone blames only Rarity for everything.
A long time since I've seen the episode so the details are blurry, though.
