>>26968651>In fact, you didn't hear any animals at all!>Even that little asshole Angel wasn't angrilly looking at you from a distance as if he was an irate soccer mom who just asked to see the manager after the cashier messed up by three cents.>After a few minutes, Fluttershy came back with a delicious smelling tray of tea and cookies.>Taking a cup and a few cookies, you questioned Fluttershy.
"If you don't mind me asking, where are all the animals?">"Oh, you haven't been here since Autumn, all the animals are either hibernating or have traveled south for the Winter. Even my little Angel is sleeping in a small burrow under the cottage.">Ah, that made sense.>You traced your finger along the edge of the cup.
"So, what do you normally do in the Winter when it's a lot quieter for you?">Fluttershy took a sip of her tea.>"I read a lot of books, making sure they're ok before we read them in our book club. I let Angel read one book called Watership Down, I thought it was a cute book about bunnies! It wasn't that at all!">She settled down and continued.>"I also have more free time to do things like go to the spa with Rarity, watch Rainbow Dash practice flying, and the Cutie Mark Crusaders have even started coming to me for nature lessons. I don't think they'll get their cutie marks in it, but they're learning none the less.">She sighed.>"But for the most part, it does get lonely sometimes here, all by myself. I know I seem to avoid large crowds, but I do like talking with somepony, even if it's just my animals.">You smiled.
"Well then, I'm glad I could come over today.">Fluttershy smiled back.>"Me too."
I'll write more tomorrow if the thread's still up.
