Well the way I've got it in my head is it revolves around Rarity becoming increasingly attached to Sweetie in a kind of motherly fashion, since she only has so much time with Sweetie and knows she'll have to go on her own eventually. As Sweetie ages Rarity keeps pushing the boundaries until she eventually throws caution to the wind and has her way with Sweetie, thus they become kinda inseparable and spend a lot of time together. Just not quite sure how I want to formulate this in a way that's engaging and spicy at the same time, I've only written a little in the past.

As for advice: just do it. Imagine the scene in your head, and tell us what's happening. Give plenty of detail on the stuff you think is important (for me it's usually outfits, characters' internal anxieties or desires, their environment, and their physical sensations when things get spicy). And beyond that, just do what feels right. Your first story isn't going to be a masterpiece, but you'll get better at it over time.

There is nothing I hate more when writing than keeping track in my head of what a character is wearing. It is my bane. It should be so easy, but I just keep dressing them up in different outfits in my head and having to constantly go back and check what I'd actually had them wearing.

I hated the pairing initially when it aired. It was too sudden, and contrary to all the hints thrown about before in the show (Rarijack & Raridash). But then I realized that most of fuckers on this board who also hated it are hating it for all the retarded reasons. Some hated it because they're genuinely retarded waifu-extremists who are critically butthurt that their *waifu* got shipped. Others were eternally enraged that their "muh family values" cartoon had a lesbian pairing in it at all, even though it's just a line of ambiguous dialogue that could be interpreted in multiple ways (I'm aware of the leaked docs. The more explicitly lesbian scene didn't make it to the cut, so it's canonically ambiguous). Once I saw it in that light, I wasn't disappointed or angry anymore about the pairing.
