/mlp/ Town Hall - Feedback Response

## Mod No.36656144 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
Thank you to all who participated in the town hall thread. This was a good opportunity to gather your feedback and try to implement some changes to improve the board.

As a result of your feedback, we are implementing the following features:

→ Bumping character limit to 3,000 from 2,000 for writers, with possibility of increasing further depending on how that goes

→ Dice rolling, which will be useful for CYOA and similar threads

→ Pony flags - will be implemented once we have designs, which we may also solicit from the community

→ /mlp/ banner - a separate thread will be posted soon to solicit potential banner images

Increased character limit and dice rolling should be available now. How to roll dice: ex. "dice+1d100" without the quotes in the Options field rolls 1d100, etc.

We are also lifting the ban on Anonfilly threads, effective immediately. This is conditional on these threads not devolving into erotic roleplay-type content.

All other threads previously banned will remain banned. You requested explanations, so our response is that most of the threads which remain banned are classed as extreme fetish content that does not belong on this board. This includes Milky Way, diaper ponies, flank worship, and similar. Tulpa threads remain banned because of their tendency towards violating rule 4.

Finally, the EqG issue: It belongs on this board. Use filters to hide content that you do not wish to see if it does not violate rules. We will get involved when content violates the rules. This is our stance globally, across all of 4chan.

Hopefully, this process can be replicated someday on other boards, as it is healthy for us to learn what matters concern you. I hope to be back again in a more lighthearted tone for April Fools this year. That's all, folks!
