You know, if I had to guess I would say that at small doses people are just so vulnerable to the placebo effect that it falls all over the place.
It's not exactly kosher for me to say this, but I've always thought the best trips were the early ones that catch you by surprise and knock you into the deep end.
Hopefully you get knocked on your ass just the right amount to be absolute mind fuckery, but not too much.
My first trip was absolutely ludicrous with how powerful it was. It was one tab, but I don't think it was LSD. The effects were a lot different than every subsequent trip I had (even the bigger ones).
I spent most of the trip absolutely delirious. It also hit me like a freight train. I got up to get some water and everything started falling apart. I then have a vague memory of being on my deck looking at the Christmas lights and worrying that my neighbors would see me acting like a super spaz.
Then I spent the next several hours blacked out on my bed. I kept coming too, but I had no idea who I was or where I was or what anything in my world actually was.
Then it slowly reconstructed itself and I had some fun little out of body experiences and then my buddy left and I spent the final several hours having these weird dream like hallucinations and size perception distortions.
Overall pretty great.
I still get little color and shape distortions when I watch the three it's always sunny in Philadelphia episodes that I watched while tripping. It's pretty weird.>>59195473
Man iktf. You gotta remember though that our generation was absolutely screwed over by those who came before us. We were never going to have the normal life they had.
I read that since the 70's, cost of living has increased 400% while wages have increased only 60% (adjusted for inflation).
Also social security is going to run out long before we make it to the age where we can get benefits from it.
And all the good stem jobs have been outsourced. We got played, my guy. Played hard.
