If you want to lose weight, permanently, you must become HEALTHY.
If you are not HEALTHY, then your body will stay in a state of physiological STRESS. Due to stress response being a higher evolutionary priority than muscle building and reproduction (running from the lion > building muscle), stress related hormones will always be produced BEFORE the hormones responsible for getting your tonnes of lard off your body. This means that while you are in a stressed state, recources will always be shunted from your body to facilitate the stress - state. Chronic stress hormones = fat retention, lack of muscle gain, shit sleep, shit sex drive, shit motivation, shit energy etc.
So then, you need to eliminate stress from your life.
No im not talking about the stress of having to leave your shitbucket to clean your dishes. I'm talking about stress in any form that affects the body significantly. The exact kinds of stress you experience will be unique to your life, but generally the following solutions apply:
- Only eat organic, (preferably whole) unprocessed food. (just fucking buy it and leave the chippies on the stand)
- observe a good circadian rythm (ASLEEP by 11pm at the LATEST, preferably 10:30)
- Exercise 3-5 times per week (at an intensity you are comfortable with - dont overdo it)
I don't even think its necessary to restrict your calories, because in my experience, once people start only eating organic unprocessed food, they stop feeling the need to gorge themselves. Of course, exercise some restraint where you can, but dont shit your 10XL daiper if you eat too much.
Eat at regular intervals throughout the day as well. You may gain some more weight in the first week or so, but once your body understands it is going to get a constant supply of quality food, it will being to shed weight.
