What wrong with that? A lot, but here are a few points.
>Old school balanceThe Wizard is meant to be weaker then the Fighter at level 1 and stronger then him at level 20 (they did this in OD&D, it's on of the ways it is balanced)
>Apples and orangesThe Wizard my seam too powerful when you compare him to a class that way different then him (the Fighter), think about it, those spells may be crazy powerful but the'll run out sooner or later, while the fighter rarely runs out of sword.
>The classes aren't in competitionThey are meant to work together through one or more diffident styles (combat, skills, arcane, divine) not to be of the same measured strength at every task. There is no point in being envious at another class just because you can't do what the other classes do or can't do what they do as well.
And last but not least, my most valid argument:
>Isn't like that your opinion, manThe whole idea of tiers is based off of someone's opinion and thus it is biased and flawed, and who cares, it's just a game, chill out, there was no need to make a table, no I'm not going to use it, because I'm not butt hurt over the classes not being "balanced" in what my opinion says they should, and I'm not going to force anyone to play what in my opinion is "balanced" when it might not be... get it?
