No. It was super shallow as a setting. It’s painfully obvious Theros was invented just to provide some context for the pictures on the trading cards. It has only 3 two-dimensional, thematically one-note cities (5 if you count the hostile monster cities), very mundane and generic terrain, and it’s all just not!Greco-Roman themes which is too limited to support an entire plane/world. A region? Sure. A continent of only Greco-Roman stuff? Eh, fine. A whole world and you can’t escape it or get variety? Gets boring quick.
The main selling point was “Mythic Monsters/Bosses” of which there were a total of 3.
Also the lesbian girl power city where all the men have to turn transsexual or genderqueer on the pain of exile or execution rubbed me the wrong way. >Ravnica
