>>3255897Currently doing a smut fic on the side just for fun. Nick/Finnick fun stuff, battle of dominance and all that.
But my actual serious one, I'm still in the process of outlining the damn thing. It's the ending that's really kicking me because I feel like I have several very strong moments but for the ending I can't think of a way of closing it out without it feeling kinda weak or, the sort of strong build up from before just sort of fading into an ending that doesn't seem to have as much potential for emotional highs and lows.
I guess to give a rundown, AU ending where Bellwether catches the blueberry trick. She switches out the blueberry for the real thing and shoots Nick. Since he can't fight back against it despite using every bit of his willpower, he ends up attacking Judy.
Both partially thanks to Nick trying to fight back against it, and thanks to the cops arriving much earlier then Bellwether had anticipated Judy manages to survive the attack. Judy is in the hospital during the passage of time to the start of the story.
I'm supposing a month passes since this, though I'm not entirely set on the amount of time between the attack and the start, but Bellwether ends up 'curing' the savage animals by placing the shock collars around their necks. She had the antidote and gave it to all the captured savage mammals, however also placing the collars on them. She parades them around in a press event, especially Nick, showing that she cured them all via the collars to the populace and furthering the divide between predator and prey, allowing her to rule by fear just as she wanted. Nobody trusts Nick after the museum events, so he has 0 credibility if he tries to claim it was Bellwether's fault.
