>>3385143>>3385207He was 100% a victim in the scout incident, don't you get me wrong, but his world view after that puts him at fault. Him playing to the stereotypes makes it so he's not 100% guilt free for any potential events after that and his lifestyle made it worse for OTHER foxes trying to make lives in the city.
There are racists, yes, there always will be. But I doubt Nick has only EVER dealt with racism in his whole life. Mr. Big seemed to like him until the butt rug debacle.
I also doubt that Jerry's prejudice was against foxes specifically, I don't recall seeing a single pred in Jerry Jumbeaux's icecream parlor, so it's likely he was just anti-pred.
Doug's a bioterrorist and part of Bellwether's crew, he's probably against anyone who isn't a sheep.
Bogo, I will admit, was against Nick specifically for being a fox. You're right on that one.
Bonnie's words to Judy after agreeing with Stu about foxes were along the lines of "You remember what happened with Gideon Grey, don't you?" meaning her hang up is probably due to Gideon physically assaulting her daughter and not about the general fox stereotypes.
All I was trying to say is that Nick isn't perfect and people should stop making him out to be. He's not some precious baby infant who has done no wrong.
He's got flaws out the wazoo and that's what makes him such a good character.
