Like, I feel bad your cat died, and I bet it wasn't even that recent, I just know how it is. My granddad's office burned down a few years back and nobody even died then, but I went through that building and know the kind of damage a fire can do, and it's fucking awful. The idea of someone actually doing that TO people and throwing gas on them is fucking horrifying. Again, I won't carry this all week or something, but it's still crazy.
