I enjoy a lot of series outside the norm. But, I also enjoy mainstream series as well. To an extent, I also enjoy moeshit, because it's easy to process, it's relaxing and doesn't require much mental effort to consume. Sometimes you just want to turn your brain off so you can relax and not think about anything, and there's artistic merit in producing shows that allow you to do that with ease. Art should be judged relative to what it is trying to accomplish, not relative to artistry as a whole, because that does not logically work.
>which is my one and only actual pointExcept you tried to make different points. I understand you're trying to backpedal here and I'm okay with it, but I'd respect you a lot more if you just admitted that the statement you made was inaccurate.

If you understand this, you shouldn't bring it up as a point in the first place.
