>>190790607>pretend to careI care because like me, these people had passion for an industry, enough that they'd go ahead and become part of it themselves and create things that could, if not make me or other people happy, made countless amounts of people I browse this board with and talk to on a daily basis happy. I don't really keep up on KyoAni, but I've seen some of their stuff. Some of it I loved and like, some I have no opinion on.
The idea that they died because one autistic fuck had a loose reason and motive and just did it because "they stole memes" is stupid. They specifically planned out the attack when security was low, when there were mothers and fathers working there, when these were people who were passionate about what they do. You don't go into the animation industry and you don't get a job at KyoAni without being passionate. Even at KyoAni, the pay won't make your living situation comfortable unless you are higher up in projects.
That's why I care. Because passionate people died in a horrible way because some fuck decided that "they stole my train memes" was a valid excuse for ruining countless lives and setting back a business.
I guess he won in the end, fuck him.
