>>190807410No, dummy. You don't have to be a retard, you have to be every person alive who is not a schizo or working in an airport in first(fourth) world countries or war zones. Such as youself. I can walk past you at your workplace and carry a can of gas tomorrow and you will probably not take a second glance. It's mundane and people ignore the mundane. This is fact and not a controversy or an argument with two sides. There have been experiments (easily repeated, some kids in my uni did their own version) where you get people and set them in a area with some foot traffic, like a hallway in a school. You tell them you're doing a study on how observant humans are and give them a bunch of papers to fill out (supposedly these are tests where they can show how observant they are). You set up a hidden camera. Then you just have people walk past in increasingly distinct clothing and hats and shit. Then when they finish up you toss their "tests" aside and ask them how they think they did. The fun part isn't just that they invariably completely blow it, it's that it's a fact that the more sure you are that you did well o the tests and are unusually observant and more astute than most people, the LESS observant you are in reality. IOW the slicker you think you are, the more clueless you are. of course, (You) will argue to the death that no, you're an eagle who spotted every anomaly in all the tests and didn't miss a question. But the actual test was to see whether you noticed the guy in the purple hat who walked by and so on. The culmiation of the classic version of the experiment is that you had a guy in a GORILLA SUIT walk past. Of course obody will ever believe let alone admit that a gorilla walked past them 8' away and they didn't notice. But you have it on video.
That's you. And it makes sense because you're unsuited for spotting shit like that because WHY WOULD THERE BE AN APE ON CAMPUS. Or a guy carrying gasoline who plans to mass murder you all.
