Ans personally, Berserk has been an experience no other story, book or manga has given me. With all the hiatus and whatnot, it actually felt like a paced adventure, with its ups and downs, and peaceful or uneventful moments. The characters had it rough, and yet you saw them all struggling. And all in beautiful detail, the landscapes, the fancy clothing, all deaths and gore, the good and the bad, laid out in amazing detail for us.
It is a great loss for all, but Miura's work has already achieved the recognition it deserves. We don't get the whole cake. Enjoy what you have left and savor it.
