>>239927692Yeah the game we have isn't what Kazuki created. That's honestly a big part of why my family also enjoyed GX (besides the characters), GX sorta kept the same mechanics and 'powerlevels' from the original Takahashi game.
Duelists have simple gimmicks and archetypes are introduced but you could still grab those GX chars and have them duel against the ones from the first series and it makes for a good show. In fact, we saw Yugi easily dealing with Judai in the final battle.
