If we were to measure magical and physical power like RPG stats or something, would a powerful magic user like Madoka or Homura be able to take on and defeat one of the Z-Fighters, or even Goku? Everyone talks about power level this and that between super heroes and even Goku VS Superman, but MY real curiosity lies in DragonBall Z characters VS magic in general. They never really fought against a magic user shooting out magic beams and making fireballs erupt in mid-air. And I feel like all the non-physical stuff we've seen in DragonBall Z would be ki energy, and therefore different from magic. I don't count that energy blasts and Destrodiscs and Kamahamehas as magic power, so I think the DBZ cast is lacking in that. And even if they WERE considered magic, the DBZ characters seem to maxed out in physical strength, with probably no physical strength or defense in magic.
I wonder about the "VS magic" aspect of this, but in an actual fight, it probably wouldn't matter. A magic user could read Goku's mind and know he's going to instant transmission in front of them and punch them, but Goku would probably have the speed to do it before the magic user could react.
