>>263965128nah this is bullshit. the different dubs (especially once you start changing the soundtrack around) alter the feel of the show dramatically. in English alone there's at least like 4 versions of original DBZ, and that doesn't include Kai. i could never get into original Dragon Ball as a kid despite loving DBZ, and eventually i realized that a large part of that was due to how different the Funimation Rescore was from the original DB and DBZ soundtracks. even as an adult i don't think i could sit through original DB or DBZ with the Japanese score. maybe the Kai rescore, but Kai has a slew of other problems that'd bother me before we got to the soundtrack.
fortunately for me, now that millions of people have eaten up the slop DBS has been churning out the last decade without complaint, it's a lot easier to ignore Funimation Dub detractors. if you marked out for GO GO GO GO GO THE DISTANCE ITS THE ULTIMATE BATTLE FOR FUUUUUN, the obnoxious chanting during the Super Broly movie GO GO GO BROLY GO GO GOGETAAA, Beast Gohan, Susanoo Goku, the Granolah arc, or the Daima trailer - then your opinion is worth less than nothing to me. lmao
