The main flaws of the manga adaptation during that whole shebang can be boiled down to five points:
- It took away Garou's role as the central antagonist.
- It took away Garou's agency.
- It was unable to commit to anything.
- It mismanaged balancing the tense, serious moments with the more lighthearted moments. The scenes were effectively stepping on each other's toes.
- It whitewashed the heroes and stripped their flaws away even when they were integral to future arcs. Characters like Puri Puri Prisoner, meanwhile, were left to stand there awkwardly without really being acknowledged.

You don't get it anon. If I'm right then the manga is predictable and if I'm wrong then the writer had to have seen the japanese equivalent of my post got scared, and changed his entire plot just to pretend he isn't predictable/

It was all that and the fact that they were widely hated before CR was a thing. They had gone around the entire digisub scene for years and pissed everyone off. Usually by stealing half finished scripts and claiming them as their own. Or attacking another group's distro network (pre-torrents so it was all DCC bots) by ddos'ing it so they could rush their own release out first. Or just making really shit translations and releasing shitty video+audio period. There were a multitude of reasons why they were universally hated.

Then they just stole everyone's work. Put it on the web. Plastered ads all over it then started making money off of it. So instead of the money going to the mangakas and studios it was being sent to them instead.

Same thing is happening now. But instead of them stealing fansub releases they butcher the actual show. Then they turn around and spam their copy everywhere to ensure no one will actually pick the show up that wants to do it properly. Now they've moved on to demanding the studios censor the stuff before it even gets drawn.

They are horrible people. It can't be said enough. They're always been horrible people. They're attention whores and they're liars.
