I liked Dragon Ball more than DBZ and I'm loving Daima
I'm so freaking sad that it's going to end in 2 more episodes but damn, this is one of the most fun dragon ball arcs in decades for me. I like pretty much all of the franchise, even stuff like GT, but the original Dragon Ball is my favorite. I always thought Goku was an adorable protagonist and I missed the big adventures they'd have before the baddies would fight. I haven't really paid any attention to how people have reacted to Daima, I've been in my shell. I'd imagine it probably feels a lot different to people who only watched DBZ. Personally, I'm so happy that Akira Toriyama got to write Kid Goku one last time. He got a great second shot at the action packed style of Dragon Ball Z with Super, so it's feels fitting for him to take one last crack at the style that started it all. Great show so far, IMO.
