>DB survived for 10+ years with no anime, video games kept the franchise afloat >DB is Shueisha and Bandai's most lucrative IP, making billions just on a mobile game alone >there is currently a legal battle over the ownership of the IP >whenever they have Jump Fiestas, DB's booth always outsells every other franchise combined >OP has sold 523 million, making it the best-selling manga of all time >has recently passed Batman to become the 2nd best selling comic in human history and will soon take Superman's #1 spot as the best-selling comic in human history >OP gets a $200 million LA show, debuted with 18.5 million views and #1 title globally on Netflix with 37.8 million views in less than two weeks since its release, a smash hit >Naruto is the most watched anime on Netflix >manga is also second only to OP in manga sales worldwide even after it ended in 2014 >its OSTs are still topping the licensing/sales charts worldwide, some of its openings are still top 10 on Japan's anison charts >Naruto gets a LA movie by the same guy who made Shang-Chi and while it's capeshit it's a visually stunning movie with legit good fight choreography >Bleach was on TV Tokyo's top 5 most profitable anime almost a decade after no content >Brave Souls reached 75 million downloads and brings in a monthly revenue of at least $15 million >Kubo got a sweet contract and he gets a bigger percentage of Bleach, has a net worth of $50M, he's richer than Toriyama and Kishimoto Boku no Hero... Kimetsu... Jujutsu... They're all the same, that is they're all nu-shounen trash that WILL end and WILL inevitably fade away with time.
Jump can try and produce mega hits all they want, but they will never produce another eternal cashcow that can rake in tons of cash again anytime soon. Dragon Ball?Naruto? One Piece? Bleach? They will outlast them all.
