Can we talk about how this is one of the best scenes in anime ever? Homura showing the slightest bit of weakness and then Madoka just being creeped out and the consequence being kyuubey now knows everything and Homura just crying on the street like a loser. Complete cinematic kino.
What are some good bratty, rebellious, or cheeky shota characters? Characters that seem more mature than their apperance suggests. I know about Killua and a few others.
I read a book recently, Nights At The Circus by Angela Carter, and in one section inmates at an all female prison in Siberia, all convicted for murder of their husbands, start a sort of lesbian state (Around 30 people) and ask for a man, specifically our main character, so that they may all get pregnant This made me think about romance in Japan, where the fetishization of Yuri is common, while also being undeniably frowned upon by general society outside the bedroom.
More specifically the recent Anime, Gridman, in which the two characters, who end up being each other, Akane and Rikka, are shown to like each other as well as our male character, Yuta. What do you think of this? Do you think this is realistic? Would you like more Anime like this? Are you a fan of such fiction? Do you think it's the best of both worlds? Is it fair to call it a harem? Let me know your thoughts! I personally think it removes the worst element of a harem, namely the women being stuck to a man who doesn't fully love them, and instead gives them the fulfilment of loving both the female and male while being satisfied sexually and reproductively.
I think this is a very underappreciated and holy general medium of Yuri expression and art.
