Do you think anons in 2020 will be disgusted by current character designs just like we are of 90's?

Quoted By:
honestly I like the 90s design a lot more, it was more dynamic and expressive than the 00s.

I'm pretty surprised at it doing so bad but I agree that most of the other shows had different priorities. Still makes things sad, but not surprising at all.

You guys have no ideas how many people on Youtube look back at the 2000's anime decade with fondness and nostalgia, even younger folks who were too young at the time are getting fascinated.
List of Future American Live-action anime adaptations >Death note (2011) >Angel beats (late 2012) >Clannad (2013) >Pani Poni dash (2014) >After Story (2015) >K-ON! (Mid-2015) >Lucky star (2017) >Kanon (Sometime between 2018-2021) >Azumanga daioh (TBA: Most likely in the 2020's decade) Holy shit. Can't wait.

anime is currently in a rut due to sexualized moe but as anime moves further forward, moe will become moer and moer until absolutely everything is yotsuba/kimi no todoke sacred people will feel too guilty to fap to any anime at all then the new generation of newbies (unlike the current generation of newbies who get into moe because it's sexualized) will be all like "what is this kiddy shit" and then the demand of "mature" anime will throw us back into 80s/90s golden age of gore anime my prediction for the next 10 years of anime. (2020 will be a golden age)

>>29262315 It is when you're new to anime. If more people don't get into anime it won't go anywhere. Personally, I and likely many others got into anime because of the violence and sexual nature of it. Nowadays you show your average moemoe anime to a 12 year old boy and they'll call it kiddy shit. Or maybe not, they might be attracted to the sexualized aspect of moe, but when it all becomes so moe that it becomes 100% innocent, anime then has no future. THE CHILDREN ARE OUR FUTURE

In fact, today's popular music is far more likely to be forgotten. History tends to choose the greatest examples of art to pass on to future generations, rather than what sold the most "albums."
