I only really played MW2 and I replayed it a lot (scarce of games), I liked it very much for Pripyat and Iraq (was it Iraq?).
I was very biased towards Battlefield, but I bought MW3 (near release?), was utterly disappointed and disinterested within first minutes, I never touched it again.
I regret that I missed BF2:Vietnam and 2142 eras, I only played the latter with bots....
1942 was so much fun, there was an episode once.. that winter dlc mountain map with jetpacks, I and a random guy, we were leaving the point, got on a Jeep, and the road through the hills was FILLED with enemy tanks and troops, and we just fucking bazinga drifted through them and made it alive.. he was in awe...
then I only played BF: Bad Company 2 because I bought it on a sale or something, I was immersed into company then and the atomic bomb making that sound felt so mystic to me then, but I tried playing it recently... and just couldn't.
BF3 was obviously fucking awesome, the game of a fucking lost era, but discounting the multiplayer, I fucking LOVED the single player, I was experiencing a pure euphoria with how the sound design was so sex, and I get to fly aircraft and tanks and all... and the setting being set in one of my homelands.
BF4 was obviously an improvement over BF3, but it wasn't as striking, but it was excellent and great.
BF1 is the last game I played (on ps4), and I would play it to this day if it would come to Steam without Origin shittery, it's super fun.
