I've been wondering about this for a while. I know we all have a fixation for robots and all things mechanical, for sure. But why does Japan have a fixation set on ridiculously giant robots?

I mean, especially considering it also has a hard one for the whole "individualistic/loner guy with a samurai sword who is small and absolutely destroys everything, even enemies that are stupidly large". It kinda seems like polar opposites, you know?

Or am I just going 2deep over kids cartoons?
